My snarkiest column yet and they aksed me cut out the most acerbic bits. I'm kinda bummed. I never get to be snarky or acerbic, but some sections of our society (cough: Republicans!) are really starting to annoy me. I guess that's just because someone decided to set the television in the student government office on Fox News.

Tree Hugging Commie ;-) Your last sentence was hilarious. I hope you don't get too many nasty letters from this article. It is a shame that the media isn't talking about these options more and bring them to our attention. I heard about the trading on NPR and think it is a good idea from what little I know and on how it is working in Europe. Any time you say taxes Republicans will scream unless it is more taxes for the lower class.

Nah, just one comment so far, very cordial. Just a standard "it'll never work" response, although in this case he's basing his argument on some decent evidence out of Australia which implemented a trading system which doesn't seem to have done any good.
I'll have to look into that and find out why its not working.
