Dreams are very personal and I believe we are the only ones really qualified to interpret my dreams. I know that my dreams often convey to me a message about my emotional state that I've been suppressing. For example, when I feel out of control of my life or like things are moving too fast, I frequently have a dream about being in an out of control car with no brakes. My dreams are often a clue to my stress level and remind me to take care of myself.

What was the emotional content of your dream? Was the idea of moving frightening or exciting? Is anything happening in your life that might make you feel like you need to leave it behind or like you want a fresh start? Or maybe you just hear the name Omaha in a song at some point? Only you can really figure that out. Good luck!

PS - You could probably do worse than Omaha. It's a nice city, in my opinion. :-)Monicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17336284049302046478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30116234.post-24475005613374247152013-11-05T10:59:58.155-06:002013-11-05T10:59:58.155-06:00I am a 35 year old mother of two teenage daughters...I am a 35 year old mother of two teenage daughters living in Mi. I have recently (within the week) began trying to open within myself a level of deeper consciousness and within the first couple days I had a dream. This dream began with my phone ringing. When I answered it a middle east accented female voice came through and told me that I had a call from (I can't remember the name but I didn't recognize it). When I began to protest a middle eastern male voice came through and said "The time has come, take your family to Omaha". Then I woke up.
Usually I can connect my dreams to something I've experienced or heard in days proceeding the dream, but I've got nothing on this one. I have no connect whatsoever to Nebraska. I am at a loss. I decided to do an internet search with the words-dream and Nebraska and this is how I came upon this blog. Would appreciate any thoughts or insight from anyone here as I cannot get this out of my head. Ps. Have experienced precog dreams before.
Thank you in advance anyone who provides any input to this.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04067229986245074603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30116234.post-60002575039103199302011-07-14T11:43:17.617-05:002011-07-14T11:43:17.617-05:00The only "meaning" I have garnered, if i...The only "meaning" I have garnered, if it can even be called that, is that our 'self' is fluid and de-constructable. We are not who we think we are and any notions of fixed identity are mere illusions. But that's only what it means to me. Dreams are highly subjective, so what your dreams mean to you may be very different. Happy dreaming!Monicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17336284049302046478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30116234.post-57123028506946824542011-07-13T19:54:02.462-05:002011-07-13T19:54:02.462-05:00I went online to research my "type" of d...I went online to research my "type" of dreaming. I came across your blog, intrigued, because this describes to the T my type of dream state. My first person dream in my entire life I was jumping between a Samaria and an old man. As if cuts in a movie. Seeing the POV of both parties. Having no real "thoughts" about the particular event. Just existing as, what I like to describe it, an observer.

What does this mean? Did you happen upon any such answer?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
